Family Estate summary introduction

This stunning family estate is located in quiet, green village-style area. It consists of totally renovated farmhouse, several buildings for storage with potential to be used as guest houses and entirely fenced 1 hectare of land. House is located in a green, village-style area. It is located at a local road and neighbors a larger number of one-family houses. There are a lot of families with children in the near surrounding as well as elderly couples. The closest town is Lenart v Slovenskih goricah (short Lenart) with approx. 8000 inhabitants. There you can find all public and commercial amenities you might need. There is a municipality with a larger public Administrative Unit where you can arrange everything from personal documents to building and business permits, marriage and birth certificates.

There is a state financial office, state employment office and state social office. Doctors with first aid service, paediatricians, gynecologists and dentists. There is a police office and a fire brigade, primary school, kindergarten, public and private music school, senior house. There is well-stacked library, mostly with books in Slovene however, there are plenty in foreign languages too (especially English children books). You can find the so-called Third Age University offering different programs such as computer usage, English, German and Italian language courses, handwork and similar.

There are also many sports facilities such as fitness, dancing school, football fields, tenis court, bowling, hippodrome. Many private and public organizations offer yoga, meditation, group sports etc. The larger area is a good place for walking, jogging, cycling, horse riding.

In Lenart you can find several larger and smaller grocery stores, clothes and shoe stores, stationeries, children store, copy house, cleaning the house, sewing services, flower shops, optic. You can find good stores for renovating and decorating your home as well as all you need for gardening, farming and animal welfare. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs and cafes.

You can use cosmetic services, visit hairdressers, take photo shooting in a photo studio. There are several car washes and petrol stations.

The nearest international airport is about 45 minutes away.

Access to the highway is approximately 5 minutes drive.


The house was partly built in 1875 and partly in 1975 and was used as a weekend house. After the acquisition, the ground floor was entirely renovated in 2011. That means that everything was changed, including electrical installation as well as plumbing. In 2015 the roof was replaced and in 2016 the façade and wall insulation were added. In 2016 the attic was changed from under the roof space for storage into a living area for children. The same year the outside terrace and covered space for storing the firewood was built.

Today there are four bedrooms in the house (one master bedroom for parents and three for children), kitchen, living room with sitting arrangement, separate toilet and two bathrooms (one on the ground floor and one in the attic) with toilets, front room, open space with stairs and two open places in the attic that are used as offices. House is approximately 180m2. 

In the house there a two basements. One is currently used to store food products. Second basement for storing garden tools and as a boiler room. 

Key features

The house is built of stone as well as brinks. The roof is from the company Gerard. The façade is made of 15 cm thick Styrofoam from Jub. Windows are wooden with three layers of glass from Slovene producer Glin Nazarje. Roof windows are plastic from Velux.

As main heating system in the house is a fireplace in the living room fired by wood.  It enables heating the entire house using water system (radiators from producer Vogel&Noot). 


There is drinking water provided by public water supply company. Waste waters are treated by the plant waste water treatment plant located on the plot planed and build by the company Limnos. There is no electricity needed for  waste water treatment since plants decompose all impurities. There is practically no work needed for maintenance. There are two air conditionings installed that are used for cooling and heating.  

The floors of the house are made of parquet and partly ceramic tiles.


On the estate, three additional buildings are mostly made of wood. Now they are mainly used for storing objects and machines. The property also has the possibility of further construction in the area where the buildings are already located. The rest is intended for use as a lawn or orchard.All buildings have electricity.
